COMMUNITY SERVICE

Another host parent went above and beyond, helping our students gain community service experience.  Our host parent took our international students, Eric and Leo to the beach to pick up discarded waste with a nonprofit organization.  Through this experience, our international students learned about pollution, citizenship, environmental conservation, and community service.

MOON HARVEST DINNER

We are incredibly proud of our homestay department for finding the best host parents who really care for our international students and give them a sense of being home.  To celebrate the Moon Harvest Festival, one host parent went above and beyond by creating a themed dinner. Here are some pictures from that night.

SHAKESPEARE AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL

Our St. Genevieve High School international students got a glimpse of Hollywood and American theatre by going to St. Genevieve's annual event.  Every year the school takes students on a picnic then to the Hollywood bowl to watch a performance by famous actors in the largest outdoor amphitheater in America, located in Los Angeles, CA.  Our international students had great time eating outdoors and afterwards experiencing a great theatre performance.
